Jake Lewis is the Director of Communications for the Chicago Federation of Labor. In his role, Jake is responsible for all internal and external communications, press relations, digital strategy, and political communications for the CFL. Before joining the CFL, Jake was the Campaign Director for Illinois Working Together, a coalition of labor organizations fighting for working families during the Rauner Administration. Jake also worked for the political consulting firm 270 Strategies, as field director for now Sen. Tammy Duckworth in her 2012 run for Congress, and as a legislative Dunn Fellow for Gov. Pat Quinn. Jake received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was born and raised in Evanston, Ill. and now lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
