Chicago Labor Day Parade & Eddie Fest
Official records vary, but one can be certain that Chicago’s first Labor Day Parade took place in the 1880s. Over 100 years later, the city’s working people still turn out every September to celebrate Chicago’s vibrant and ongoing labor legacy. In 2023, the Chicago Labor Day Parade & Eddie Fest moved to the Historic Pullman District, strengthening the connection between the celebration and our city’s labor lore.
Details for the 2024 Chicago Labor Day Parade & Eddie Fest will be announced in Spring 2024.
